Welcome to Cygno Solutions. Cygno Solutions is a software consultancy company, established in 2000 and specialized in offshore software development. Offshore software development is a type of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) in which IT related work is outsourced from one country to another country, normally to a country with significantly lower costs of labor.
The internet and broadband connections make it possible to perform certain activities (like software development) independent of geographical location, without the need of physically having software engineers in the office of the customer. This can lead to huge cost savings.
Cygno Solutions is situated in Uruguay. Uruguay, located between Argentine and Brazil, has highly educated software engineers that can be hired for very competitive rates. The culture in Uruguay is similar to Europe (most Uruguayans are 2nd or 3rd generation descendants from Spanish or Italian immigrants). We also have engineers from Belarus (White Russia).
We work together with companies in the Benelux to be able to offer more locally oriented services as well. Cygno Solutions can communicate with you in English, Dutch or Spanish.
